The next meeting of DWCMarco will take place on Tuesday, May 19, from 5:00 pm- 6:30 pm in person at Mackle Park Community Center, 1361 Andalusia Terrace. As part of our effort to promote informed participation, we have invited all candidates running for School Board Districts 1, 3, and 5 to participate in a town hall–style forum moderated by Marco Island City Councilwoman Deb Henry.
Candidates will have an opportunity to offer brief opening remarks followed by moderated questions addressing key issues affecting our schools and community such as student achievement, school safety, teacher retention, funding priorities, and the role of the school board in supporting students, families, and educators.
