Robyn Cicero will be our guest speaker this month.
Taking Flight – Aviation Safety in the US.
Robyn Cicero is recently retired, after 30 years as an aviation specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and four with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Ms. Cicero spent her federal career advocating for aviation safety and security around the world while extending U.S. leadership.
Ms. Cicero’s focus is on the importance of the interconnected technical capabilities within the US government that create aviation safety with the FAA as the central figure, a brief history as to why we have today’s challenges (including budget and what happened in El Paso), and the incalculable damage being done by the current crusade to demean/diminish federal civil servants.
Ms. Cicero graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in history and from George Washington University with an MA in International Relations.
