DESCRIPTION:Steven Kirk has been the President of Rural Neighborhoods (RNI) for more than 30 years. RNI is a non-profit community development corporation that serves working families throughout 11 Florida counties offering nearly 3\,000 units of affordable rental housing.\nRNI began developing farmworker housing but has expanded to build senior and workforce housing in suburban areas. In Collier County RNI has 340 existing units in Immokalee and is currently building a 252-unit rental campus called The Renaissance off Collier Boulevard on the former Golden Gate Golf Course site. The initial Renaissance apartments are targeted to essential service workers in April 2026. The second phase will serve upwards of 100 senior rental households. PLEASE CANCEL THE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT IF UNABLE TO ATTEND.
