DESCRIPTION:Steven Kirk has been the President of Rural Neighborhoods (RNI) for more than 30 years. RNI is a non-profit community development corporation that serves working families throughout 11 Florida counties offering nearly 3\,000 units of affordable rental housing.\nRNI began developing farmworker housing but has expanded to build senior and workforce housing in suburban areas. In Collier County RNI has 340 existing units in Immokalee and is currently building a 252-unit rental campus called The Renaissance off Collier Boulevard on the former Golden Gate Golf Course site. The initial Renaissance apartments are targeted to essential service workers in April 2026. The second phase will serve upwards of 100 senior rental households. Ms. Cicero spent her federal career advocating for aviation safety and security around the world while extending U.S. leadership. \nMs. Cicero’s focus is on the importance of the interconnected technical capabilities within the US government that create aviation safety with the FAA as the central figure\, a brief history as to why we have today’s challenges (including budget and what happened in El Paso)\, and the incalculable damage being done by the current crusade to demean/diminish federal civil servants. \nMs. Cicero graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in history and from George Washington University with an MA in International Relations.
