Sara McFadden, Democratic nominee for Florida State Representative in District 106 has been endorsed by the Progressive Caucus in her race against incumbent Bob Rommel.
“Thank you for stepping up to run for State House and for representing our progressive values. We recognize it takes commitment and teamwork to drive a progressive agenda and look forward to working with you to make that a reality,” said Michael Calderin, President of the Democratic Progressive Caucus of Florida, in making the announcement.
McFadden, unlike her opponent, qualified by petition to be on the November 3 ballot; a rare achievement during the pandemic and a testament to her organization’s volunteer base. Thanking the caucus, McFadden said: “Thanks, this is a tremendous honor. I’m proud to be endorsed by the DPCF and stand up for Floridians, not special interests.”
State House District 106 is in coastal Collier County, running from Barefoot Beach and Naples Park, south to Naples, Marco Island and Everglades City.
