State House candidate Sara McFadden has added to her list of endorsements with the announcement by Naples Better Government that she is their pick in this election.
“Sara McFadden is active in the community and well informed about her district’s issues,” the good-government organization said. “Expansion of Medicaid and access to mental health services are a priority. Ms. McFadden is a proponent of town hall meetings to get to know and keep apprised of concerns of her constituents. Ms. McFadden would initiate measures to stop water pollution at its source and hold polluters accountable for the costs.”
“It’s challenging enough running against an incumbent, so this endorsement from a well-established and highly respected political organization in our county is most welcome. Local endorsements like this one, the Teachers Union TIGER, and Vote Water, validate the support our campaign has earned and the need for the essential policies we espouse for Good Government, Healthcare Access, Better Education and Clean Water.”
Established in 1991, Naples Better Government remains the most active and longest operating Political Committee in Collier County. The committee’s primary concern is about promoting ethical government; educating residents about candidates and critical ballot issues by participating in the sponsorship of public forums focused on those candidates and issues; and by the publication of their endorsements and positions in the local media.
McFadden is running against Bob Rommel for this Coastal Collier State House seat (District 106), which runs from the border with Lee County south to Naples, East Naples, Marco Island and Everglades City.
