Fifty senators have come out in support of a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to repeal the FCC’s plan to destroy net neutrality, the concept that all content on the Internet be treated equally.
That means we need the support of just ONE more senator to pass the CRA—and there are strong indications that Florida’s Senator Marco Rubio could provide that vote.
Senator Rubio could be a real hero for the open Internet—but first he needs to hear from you!
Can you join a ‘Be a Hero’ event and net neutrality petition delivery at one of Senator Rubio’s Florida offices at noon on Thursday, February 15th? There are actions organized in Miami, Jacksonville, and Tampa.
Bring a friend, a cake, some balloons, songs, instruments, and some dance moves—whatever will make this action fun and nudge Senator Rubio to be a net neutrality hero.
Supporting net neutrality shouldn’t be complicated. 75 percent of Republicans and 83 percent of the country supports keeping the rules that protect net neutrality.
We need Senator Marco Rubio to join them. Join a ‘Be a Hero’ event and petition delivery at his offices at 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 15. Sign up at the links below:
