From Cindy Banyai’s Campaign
Congressional candidate Cindy Banyai and State House candidate Sara McFadden have endorsed one another.
“I’m excited to share a joint endorsement with candidate for Florida House of Representatives District 106, Sara McFadden!. We both have a long history serving as local leaders in Southwest Florida and will work to prioritize our communities,” Banyai, the Democratic nominee for Congress in District 19, said.
McFadden is working hard to bring people together for the common good and to restore a civil, collaborative and inclusive government, Banyai said.
She believes, “people are not profits, families are not corporations, and democracy is not greed.” You can learn more about McFadden on her website here.
“We’re dedicated to representing working families, not special interests. We look forward to serving together to protect our communities and provide Florida with the Representatives they deserve,” Banyai said
Banyai also announced that she and Jacquelyn McMiller, candidate for Fort Myers Mayor, have endorsed one another.
Banyai “will bring a fresh voice to Florida’s 19th Congressional District. She will be a tireless fighter in Washington for the people of Southwest Florida,” McMiller said. “Working together, we will secure federal funds to address the crumbling infrastructure in our City and identify resources to address the threats to our environment. I’m proud to endorse her run for the U.S. House of Representatives and look forward to working with Cindy to transform Fort Myers for its residents.”
“Fort Myers is my home and I know it will be in good hands with Jacquelyn McMiller. I am proud to be in the fight with a strong woman and community servant like her.” said Banyai.
Banyai is a Democrat running for Florida Congressional District 19, spanning coastal Southwest Florida from Cape Coral to Marco Island. She is a mom of three native Floridians and a small business owner. Banyai has been a decorated professional in the field of community development for almost 20 years, collaborating with nonprofits around the world on issues such as homelessness, children’s services, education, and sustainable development. Banyai is fighting for our water, our health, and our community. She is running for Congress to lift the voices of the people to be on the same level as politicians and CEOs and to create a Southwest Florida where the sun shines on everyone.
