For reasons most voters can figure out, Florida Gov. Rick Scott is fighting in court to hide his finances and how he may have used his position as governor to enrich himself through his secret financial account, his so called ‘blind trust.’ This is but one example of Scott’s self-serving politics.

Dr. Alina Valdes has been selected to receive a Caribbean American Heritage Award on June 9, 2018 at a function at the Doubletree by Hilton, Sunrise, Florida. Dr. Valdes is thrilled that her work in community health and with under-served patients is to be honored in this way.
